Retired criminal policeman Lao Zhou, nicknamed "Old Deng" (a playful Northeast Chinese term for elderly men), is always teased by the community for "meddling." Until he accidentally gets a "System for Taming the Unruly" — when facing a seat-hogging young man, the system makes him use Northeast-style humor to leave the guy speechless; when dealing with a merchant bullying a delivery guy, the system teaches him to use "law + rustic two-part allegories" to make the merchant submit. But when his own daughter calls him "outdated" and refuses to come home, the system suddenly fails. Lao Zhou then realizes that the most important "unruly" to fix is the "pride gap" in family love...
