Retired grandma Li Guilan works as an extra on film sets to save tuition for her grandson. During a shoot, she meets three people claiming to be from ancient times: a down-and-out nobleman, his spoiled wife and their loyal maid. Stranded in modern days with no money or skills, they fainted on set. Soft-hearted Li takes them in, balancing her tiring filming work with helping them adapt to modern life—struggling with smartphones, treating takeaways as delicacies, and constantly talking about returning to ancient times. Hilarious mishaps happen one after another, warmth grows between them, and whether they can find a way back becomes Li's biggest concern.
