During the Republican era, the renowned Hechun Peking Opera Garden in Tianjin was destroyed by a mysterious fire. Its troupe master and disciples were scattered, and the once-famous Pihuang opera fell silent. Ten years later, Su Wan, a young apprentice who narrowly escaped the disaster, returned to the ruined theater with her master's rare opera scripts. She is determined to find her senior brother who died saving her, expose the local merchant who set the fire to embezzle the opera garden, rebuild the stage among the ruins, and let the lost "Drunken Concubine" resound over Tianjin again to get justice for her master and fellow disciples.
