In the final stage of the War of Resistance in 1945, Lu Lulu, a female agent codenamed "Flying Eagle", is assigned an urgent mission—to pretend to be a couple with Shen Haonan, a man who appears to be a playboy from a chamber of commerce but hides a mysterious identity, to infiltrate enemy-occupied areas and deliver key intelligence. During the mission, Shen Haonan endures enemy torture (whipping) to hide their true relationship and wounds; Lu Lulu gradually discovers the deep affection behind his "indifferent" disguise. As the spy net tightens and life-or-death moments approach, can this "fake couple" complete their mission in the flames of war and protect their budding true love?
