Lin Wan, a cultural relic restorer, receives a damaged ancient painting. To her surprise, the collector Gu Zhao looks exactly like the "little tail" from her childhood memories. During restoration, a glass marble and a handwritten note fall out of the scroll, unearthing a ten-year-old secret—Lin Wan once saved Gu Zhao from bullies in an old alley, and they promised to meet again when grown up. But Gu Zhao lost contact after moving abroad due to an accident. Now reunited, Gu Zhao avoids Lin Wan out of guilt for breaking the promise, while Lin Wan thinks he’s long forgotten her. When the painting is fully restored, the old alley, marble, and childhood doodles reappear in the artwork. Can these two "old friends" cross the years and mend their broken bond?
