Wartime Windfall 2: The Golden Road to No Return

Set in war-torn 1940s Shanghai, dock laborer Chen Ashun stumbles upon a crate of hidden Japanese gold while scavenging ruins. He plans to use the fortune to cure his bedridden mother, but immediately becomes the target of local gangsters, Kuomintang agents and Japanese spies. Though his wife begs him to give up the gold and stay safe, Ashun is blinded by the chance to change his fate, walking straight into a carefully laid trap. He soon learns this so-called windfall is actually a deadly path with no way back.
