Lin Xiaoman, the last descendant of the Maoshan Taoist sect, descends the mountain with her ancestor's soul tablet to avenge her family. As soon as she enters the city, she accidentally awakens the thousand-year-old ghost king trapped in the tablet—the very ancestor who was framed and sealed for a century! Fearing backlash, she’s shocked to find the tablet’s contract forces the ancestor to obey her. While the enemy’s descendants scheme to steal the Maoshan treasure, the ancestor, though傲娇, secretly helps her take down villains. Xiaoman, holding a peachwood sword, declares: “Today you’re my enforcer, tomorrow we’ll take down the enemy!” The ghost king smirks: “Whatever you say, kid.” The revenge story, starting with “taming the ancestor,” is unputdownable!
