Lin Xiaotang, a street medicine boy, assumes the identity of the "Langya Wang Clan" to join the capital's medical competition—only nobles can vie for the sacred medicine to save his terminally ill mother. With his exceptional acupuncture skills, he advances, but runs into Wang Xuening, the real Langya clan's daughter, who's investigating the "imposter." From rivalry to mutual redemption: Wang helps him hide, but uncovers her family's secret of "abandoning folk medical cases"; Lin struggles with guilt over his fake identity while fighting forces trying to destroy Langya. When he finally gets the medicine, his mother has passed away, leaving a letter saying, "True fame is in people's hearts, not in surnames." He realizes: what truly matters isn't the Langya name, but the warmth in his hands when he heals.
