Su Wantang, a beautiful CEO, accidentally hits Lin Chuan, a poor young man squatting by the road, on her way home from overtime. Taking pity on his homelessness and injured leg, she takes him in as a live-in helper. However, Lin Chuan, who seems dull, always “coincidentally” helps Su when she’s in trouble—fending off thugs, seeing through business traps, and even subduing kidnappers with his bare hands when she’s abducted. When Su is on the brink of bankruptcy due to a competitor’s scheme, Lin suddenly reveals his identity: he’s the heir of the hermit sect “Xuanzhenmen,” who wandered the streets to find his childhood savior—young Su Wantang. Only then does Su realize that the man she hit isn’t a poor guy, but the peerless guardian who’s waited for her for twenty years.
