But this “little lucky star” weeps at night, clutching an ancient silver lock, missing his grandma and fearing sudden disappearance. Xiaoman goes from wanting to kick him out to loving him like a daughter, forming an unbreakable bond. When the time-travel array finally appears in an ancient painting, Xiaofu holds the cartoon pencil Xiaoman gave him and sobs: “Can I take my modern mom back to the past too?”
