Unemployed cartoonist Gu Yang is driven crazy by deadline pressure. His 5-year-old daughter Xiaotang picks up an old crayon that can bring drawings to life—hot milk tea becomes real instantly, a broken computer is fixed, and even the perfect storyboard the client demands is “drawn” into existence. But as the pen is used more, Xiaotang grows weaker. Gu Yang finds old medical records and realizes: this was the “wish pen” he drew for sick Xiaotang years ago, and now it’s Xiaotang who’s helping him “fulfill” past unkept promises. When only one stroke remains, will he choose his career comeback or his daughter’s health?
