A wealthy entrepreneur, mindful of his hometown roots, returns to the village to repair irrigation canals for free. However, he is framed and defrauded by a few villagers who falsely accuse him of embezzling funds. Enraged, he abandons the canal project and builds a large reservoir at his own cost. This cuts off water supplies to the fraudulent villagers, and he provides evidence of their false accusations to have them imprisoned. Eventually, with the reservoir’s irrigation benefits, the whole village develops characteristic agriculture and eco-tourism, achieving prosperity and revitalizing the once quiet hometown.
