Shen Jinghong, a Republican-era heiress reborn in modern times after drinking the Meng Po soup, is haunted by a moon-shaped mark that sears her soul at midnight. When an antique shop 'River of Forgetting' reveals a jade hairpin carved with her past-life poetry, touching it thrusts her into visions of a war-torn commander—her lover who vowed 'under the moonlight' before dying in battle. Shockingly, Zhou Yunshen, a cold-hearted business heir bearing the commander's face, denies their past. Shen maneuvers closer by restoring the hairpin, only to discover Zhou's identical gunshot scar glowing under the moon. The shopkeeper's chilling warning echoes: 'The more you remember, the faster the moon mark devours your present life. Choose: die for love, or eternal oblivion?'
