Lin Mo, a female painter, runs her grandmother's ancient painting restoration shop, focused on piecing together the broken Song Dynasty scroll *Peach Branches and Spring Swallows*. She clashes with Lu Zhao, a cultural relics scholar who claims the fragment is a family heirloom his grandmother “lost”—Lin Mo insists her grandmother split it to protect it.
