Lin Mo, a female painter, runs her grandmother's ancient painting restoration shop, focused on piecing together the broken Song Dynasty scroll *Peach Branches and Spring Swallows*. She clashes with Lu Zhao, a cultural relics scholar who claims the fragment is a family heirloom his grandmother “lost”—Lin Mo insists her grandmother split it to protect it. As they restore the painting, affection blooms, but Lin Mo, traumatized by childhood loss, fears love, and Lu Zhao is leaving for an overseas project.
