Lin Xiaoman, an "invisible" employee at an advertising agency, has secretly loved Gu Chuan, the design director, for three years—she even rehearses three times before handing him coffee. Until she finds an ancient silver ring at a flea market—the "Heart Whisper Ring," said to let wearers hear others' true thoughts. Trembling, she puts it on and hears Gu Chuan: staring at her forgotten hair tie on his screen saver, he murmurs, "She wore the cream dress I recommended today… should I ask her out?" But when she finally gathers courage to confess, the ring burns—every secret heard makes her forget a small memory with Gu Chuan: the first time he picked up her files, the first time he shielded her from alcohol, until eventually, she starts to forget *loving him* itself. She must risk confessing with her own words—before her memories of love vanish forever.
