Office worker Su Xiaotang receives an old wooden box from her father who’s been missing for ten years. Inside are a million taels of gold and a scribbled note: "Xiaotang, use this to survive—the doomsday is coming." Soon, greedy relatives storm in for "inheritance," and mysterious "time fixers" in black suits claim the gold is "illegal" and want to take it back. While using the gold to outsmart her relatives, Su tracks her father’s whereabouts, only to find a crayon sun (she drew as a kid) on a gold bar—her father, struggling in the future doomsday, risked the time storm to turn all his "security" into gold, each piece hiding unspoken "I love you." And at the bottom of the box, there’s an unfinished family photo with a line on the back: "If I could redo it, I’d be there for your 7th birthday."
