Su Wan, a cultural relic restorer, touches an ancient jade inscribed with "Meeting on the Path" while organizing unearthed artifacts. Every night, she dreams of being Zhao, a Song Dynasty girl running a tea stall by the road, who fell in love with Gu Zhaozhi, a scholar heading to the imperial exam—only for Gu to die suddenly from illness, leaving Zhao to cry herself to death hugging his tombstone. In reality, Lin Shen, the archaeology team leader in charge of the jade excavation, looks exactly like Gu. When Su Wan learns Lin is having the same past-life dreams, the jade suddenly glows red—can their unfulfilled promise from a previous life be kept now? Can they break the curse that "reincarnated love is doomed to end?"
