Lin Nanmu, an ancient furniture restorer, guards her grandfather's old shop, clinging to traditional crafts to revive the warmth of old objects. She clashes head-on with Xu Xiangyang, an auction house appraiser, over a ancestral golden nanmu board carved with "Xiangyang"—Xu needs the board to save the old teahouse his mother惦记 on her deathbed, while Lin swears to protect her grandfather's unfinished "grandma's dressing table." Tracing the knife marks on the board, they uncover a past: Lin's grandfather once helped Xu's mother preserve the teahouse's nanmu beams, and Xu's mother was grandma's dearest friend. A two-generation "sunshine promise" makes these two stubborn people understand the inheritance of love through restoring old things.
