Tea artist Qiaomu from a southern town and photographer Xiangsi from the northern metropolis meet by chance at a photo exhibition. Despite the distance, they connect through letters and videos, but face dilemmas between family expectations and career choices. When Xiangsi finally decides to journey south for love, she discovers Qiaomu has accepted an arranged marriage. Can their cross-country romance overcome the barriers of reality?
