Socially anxious Lin Xiaoman runs an old stationery shop at the alley entrance, always hiding behind the glass counter. Soon, small kindnesses pile up: the elderly lady leaves extra orange candy, the delivery guy straightens her sign, even the cold café owner leaves hot cocoa on rainy nights. When Xiaoman finds her old diary, she realizes she once sowed kindness unknowingly—helping the lady find her cat, leaving warm milk for the delivery guy, lending her pen to a crying kid. On Christmas Eve, the shop lights up—all "strangers" stand at the door with hot drinks: "We've long wanted to give your warmth back to you."
