Gang boss Lin Zhan betrayed his ruthless family to protect his young twins Lin Shen and Lin Xiao from persecution, but got separated from them at a train station on a stormy night. 15 years later, Lin Shen has become a young billionaire leading a multi-billion AI empire, while Lin Xiao works as a forensic doctor who can "make corpses talk" to uncover truths. The siblings never stopped searching for their father. When Lin Shen tracks down that his father might be selling wontons under the alias "Old Lin" in the old town, he is stunned to find his father with A Qiang—the family hitman who once slashed him and screamed "exterminate the roots." Why is the enemy who wanted them dead now kneading dough and manning the stall for his father? Is his father's disappearance a deliberate avoidance, or is there a deeper secret hidden?
