Lin Wan, an ancient book restorer at the planetarium, dreams every night of Gu Shen, a man in a Republic of China-era long gown, who always says "Hide it" under the starry sky. When she restores a Republic of China-era astrological manuscript, she finds Gu Shen's photo inside, with the last page bearing the same words as in her dream: "Come find me, the starry night will guide you." That night, the planetarium's dome suddenly displays the star trajectory of 1937. Following it, Lin Wan finds a dusty observatory, and through an old telescope, she sees the living Gu Shen—In 1937, he's anxiously searching for a star map that can predict a disaster. Now, the same star pattern reappears. Lin Wan realizes she's the only one connecting the two times. She must find the secret Gu Shen hid in the stars before the starry night ends, and gradually discovers their fate was already written in the star trajectory.
