After her family’s factory went bankrupt, Su Xing makes a living by selling handcrafted star-shaped ornaments by the riverside. Dusk paints the sky orange, and the backlight of the setting sun stretches their shadows long. Every evening at the intersection, she always runs into Chen, a sketchbook-toting artist stopping to gaze at her stall. They gradually grow close and fall for each other, but Su Xing soon discovers the company Chen works for is the exact competitor that took over her father’s factory. When she picks up the sketchbook Chen left behind, every page is filled with sketches of her profile, plus a smudged line: "It was my father who took over your dad’s troubled project. How do I tell you I love you now?"
