Late one night, overworked office worker Lin Wan runs into a soaking-wet teen named Shen Ci outside her apartment complex. To her shock, Shen Ci has a fluffy fox tail that accidentally wraps around her bag strap. As it turns out, Shen Ci is a fox demon who lost his power-sustaining spiritual pearl, so he has to stay close to Lin Wan temporarily. Lin Wan's daily life quickly descends into tail-related chaos: the tail tangles on her office desk during meetings, grabs passersby on dates, even trips her up when she picks up parcels.
