Investment banker Lin Wan infiltrates Gu Group under a false identity to probe her father's "accidental death," only to clash head-on with Gu Shen, the group's CEO—he’s the "mysterious witness" from the crime scene, the "rival" who repeatedly thwarts her investigation, and the "stranger" who saves her from a fatal threat one night. As they move from suspicion to opening up to each other, Lin Wan finds her father's old watch in Gu Shen's study. In the fog of truth, is this a trap he set, or a "mirror mystery" fate has woven? The twist lies in the line: "When you stare into the abyss, the abyss is also waiting for you to turn around."
