Social worker Lin Nuannuan works hard to renovate the activity room for the orphanage, and meets the picky architect Shen Yichen. They bicker frequently over design proposals: Lin insists on keeping the children's graffiti area, while Shen initially deems it impractical. Until he accidentally finds that Lin secretly takes sick kids from the orphanage to the hospital, and sees “Brother Shen” drawn all over the children's walls—turns out he anonymously donated picture books to this orphanage years ago. Their interactions in the cold winter help them see the tenderness under each other's sharp edges, and love quietly blooms in the warm winter days.
