Lin Xiaoman, a young actor from a small-town Nuo Opera troupe, is forced to take over the role of "Soul Guide" after her master suddenly goes missing. During the performance, she finds a blood-stained mysterious coordinate in her master's Nuo mask. Following the clue to an abandoned ancient temple, she stumbles upon her master—who has been missing for half a year—presiding over a forbidden ritual. The girl tied to the altar looks exactly like her! At that moment, the mask on her face suddenly heats up, and her master's old warning echoes in her ears: "Nuo Opera is a contract between the living and the underworld. One wrong step, and you pay with your life."
