A remote mountain village is hit by a strange plague. Nier, a teenage girl infected, starts to mutate with glowing skin. Panicked villagers label her a disaster star, besieging her house and yelling to burn her alive. Nier's mother, who would risk everything for her daughter, blocks the door and fights desperately with a chopper. Unbeknownst to her, Nier's mutation is the only cure for the plague, and the out-of-control power inside Nier holds the key to breaking the deadlock.
