Pang Ya, a snack-obsessed girl growing up in a dilapidated temple in Northeast China, accidentally swallows the so-called "King of Hunters System" which turns out to be a gluttonous "foodie" only responsive to snacks. She coaxes the system to complete tasks and gain resources with her stash of spicy strips and rice crackers. Her father, crippled by bullies, recovers and hunts treasures in the mountains following the system's guidance. They retrieve their belongings, defeat the tyrants oppressing them, and move into a bright big house. With snacks and a magical system, they turn their miserable life into a rags-to-riches hit story!
