Lin Zhao, a coroner in the capital, harbors a secret—he is half a "living skin corpse," able to relive a dead person's final moments by touching their body, but each use costs him three years of his life. Recently, three "supernatural murders" have rocked the capital: a bride turned to dust in her wedding sedan, a scholar stabbed through the throat by a brush, a镖头 killed by his own sword. The people claim it’s the "Three Evils" seeking vengeance. When Lin Zhao is assigned to the case, he discovers his missing master’s mark on every corpse—ten years ago, his master saved his dying self with half a living corpse’s life, and now he’s back to claim the other half. Caught between solving the case and saving his own life, Lin Zhao must unravel the truth behind the "Three Evils" while confronting his master’s hidden agenda: was the old rescue an act of mercy… or a trap?
