Lin Xiaoman, a modern cultural relic restorer, travels back to Tangzhou in the Northern Song Dynasty via a Song-era begonia jade pendant inscribed with "Si Nian". There, she meets Gu Sinian, a young border general—"Si Nian" is his name. Cold and resolute, Sinian bears the weight of protecting Tangzhou and fulfilling his father’s last wish: a "Begonia Feast". Xiaoman uses modern skills to restore ancient begonia porcelain and help villagers survive a drought, but is branded a "disaster-bringing witch". When Sinian draws his sword to shield her from slander, Xiaoman is stunned—the begonia embroidery on his sword tassel matches the pendant’s pattern exactly. Could it be that a thousand years ago, under the first-blooming begonia tree, they had already made an unspoken promise?
