Lin Xiaochuan, a third-rate scammer scraping by on petty fraud, accidentally binds to a mysterious "Anti-Fraud System" during a failed con—if he doesn't complete "justice anti-fraud missions", he'll be punished with electric shocks. To survive, he's forced to switch from scammer to anti-fraud hero: retrieving an elderly lady's life savings, exposing health product scams, going undercover in a fraud ring... Along the way, he meets Su Xiaoqing, an upright policewoman who mistakes him for a reformed good guy. But Lin must hide his scammer past while tackling the system's absurd tasks (like using cheesy pickup lines to convince scammers to surrender). When he falls for Su, he discovers the villainous gang's target is her police father—Lin must choose between completing missions, protecting his love, and redeeming himself, while the truth behind the system holds a shocking secret...
