In the 1970s, Lu Zheng, a down-and-out educated youth, lived in a drafty dilapidated cottage. As winter approached, he picked up a homeless little girl. From barely making ends meet to earning his first pot of gold through mountain hunting, Lu Zheng and the little girl achieved a complete turnaround. They not only survived the winter safely but also carved out a prosperous path in the mountains, and the warmth between them went beyond family affection.
