Lin Xiaoman, an office worker being PUA'd to the brink of collapse, reunites with her high school "troublemaker" deskmate Chen Mo—who's back to investigate a mysterious fall case from six years ago. And Lin Xiaoman is the witness holding the key clue. Trapped between a suffocating workplace and a truth that forces her to reopen old wounds, Lin Xiaoman is pushed out of her "shell": the "accident" back then was deliberate, and her "cowardice" had become the killer's shield... When the "insect" breaks free from its cocoon, will it crush the darkness, or be devoured by it?
