Laid-off young man Chen Mo met a dying old beggar on a cold winter street. Just when he was about to give his last few coins as alms, the old man pressed a cracked bronze eye ornament into his hand. That night, Chen Mo was shocked to find that wearing the ornament allowed him to see everyone's hidden thoughts and past secrets: the theft traces of his roommate, the illegal activities of his boss who withheld his wages, and even the truth behind his unexpected job loss. But when he tried to use this power to turn the tables, he discovered that the old beggar was no ordinary tramp, and there was a decades-old entanglement behind the clairvoyant eye.
