In the 1970s, cold-faced public security superintendent Gu Zhao accidentally takes in an abandoned baby, Xiao Tang. To his surprise, the little girl is a "lucky star"—since she arrived, lost cattle are found, stolen public funds are recovered, and even the old case that's stumped him for three years gets new leads. But Xiao Tang has a secret: she's always sneaking a look at a crumpled old photo, searching for her biological parents.
