In 1975, Lin Xiaoman is reborn in the family courtyard of Hongguang State-owned Machinery Factory. To her shock, every choice she makes triggers a mysterious "reward pool"—helping a neighbor watch kids gets food coupons, covering a colleague's night shift earns a Butterfly sewing machine. But when her mother suffers from acute nephritis and she needs to redeem "imported penicillin," the system demands her "most precious childhood memory" as payment. Torn between fate-altering rewards and the 70s warmth—neighbors' brown sugar eggs, her mom's half-year knitted sweater—Xiaoman realizes: the real "reward" isn't about a better life, but about holding onto the warmth of human hearts.
