Seven years ago, Lin Wanxing left her lover Gu Nanfeng without a word to save her terminally ill mother, cutting off all contact. Seven years later, she returns to her hometown as a landscape architect to renovate the old town, only to run into Gu Nanfeng—now the CEO of the project's investor—who stands beside a gentle "fiancée" but hides unextinguished obsession in his eyes.
