Lin Xuan, a thousand-year-old immortal ancestor from the cultivation world, accidentally reincarnates as a seven-year-old kid in a modern family while searching for his lover who sacrificed her soul for him in a past life. A system forces him to maintain his 'ancestor's majesty,' making him say 'You mortals, step back!' as soon as he opens his mouth—scaring his parents into thinking their kid is possessed, his brother chasing him for 'immortal spells to turn snacks into unlimited,' his sister begging to 'fly,' and even the neighborhood aunties holding incense to worship him as a master. Lin Xuan uses immortal magic to solve family troubles (like changing his brother's failing exam paper to full marks), secretly sends 'millennium spirit honey' to Su Wan, and also has to deal with the system's 'cute punishment' (like being forced to dance to nursery rhymes). When Su Wan gradually recalls past life memories and the family finally accepts the 'seven-year-old ancestor,' a sweet and hilarious chase spanning a thousand years begins in the chaotic city...
