Lin Wan, an old object restorer, receives an anonymous copper box one day, which contains the love letter that was the token of her and Gu Shen, her ex-boyfriend who disappeared three years ago. She tracks down Gu Shen only to find that he has retrograde amnesia from a past accident and no longer remembers her. However, in the poems Gu Shen writes every night, there are all the "evening breeze details" that only they know—the osmanthus fragrance at the alley, the wind chime under the eave, and the half-knitted scarf she left behind. Lin Wan stays by his side as a restorer, trying to awaken his memories, but accidentally uncovers the truth: Gu Shen's amnesia is a disguise. The person responsible for the accident wanted to trouble her, so he used this way to protect her silently for three years—just like the evening breeze, never leaving a trace of "disturbance" in her life, but never stopping blowing.
