Ju Xiaoman, a socially anxious cartoonist, is forced to sign a "Forced Team-Up Contract" with her old enemy—Lu Zechuan, a sarcastic and narcissistic top variety show producer—to co-create a love experiment show in order to save her failing studio. They bicker from day one: Lu mocks Xiaoman for "shaking when talking to guests," while Xiaoman ridicules him for "only caring about ratings without warmth." But as the show progresses, Xiaoman discovers Lu's dedication to content behind his sharp words, and Lu understands the healing power in Xiaoman's comics. Just as they let go of prejudices, the "truth of their past misunderstanding" suddenly emerges, putting their budding affection at risk.
