Lin Xiaoman, a heartbroken piano teacher, moves into an attic in the old town and uses piano music to heal her pain every night—only to be repeatedly complained about by Zhou Bo, an elderly loner downstairs. One day, she learns that Zhou Bo’s grandson, a piano prodigy who won international awards, died in a winter-night car accident three years prior—and the piece she plays, *Snow Dream*, was his favorite. When frost covers the windowsill again, Zhou Bo stands at her door with his grandson’s sheet music: "Can you play it once more tonight?" In the winter night’s piano notes, two people trapped in grief finally catch each other’s light.
