The cold and distant college professor Lin Zhixia meets Shen Yu, a straightforward sophomore six years her junior, at an academic seminar. Ignoring the world's prejudice against a six-year age gap where the woman is older, Shen Yu launches a passionate pursuit that breaks down Lin Zhixia's long-guarded heart. Their awkward teacher-student relationship gradually slips into an uncontrollable ambiguous tug-of-war: caught between others' strange glances and their growing mutual throbbing, in this forbidden love, who will break free from the chains first and sink into each other's tender whirlpool?
