Lin Wan, the gentle manager of "Guixu Hotel", guards her mother's old inn, clinging to human warmth in an era of cold standardization. Enter Gu Chengchuan—an arrogant, elite investor with acquisition plans. They clash from the start: Gu mocks the hotel's breakfast as "too unstandardized", Lin retorts he "knows nothing of human warmth"; Gu tries to fire a ten-year chef, Lin locks him in a closet to "cool off". But when Gu sees Lin stay up all night to retrieve an elderly guest's lost memory pendant or cover an employee's medical bills, his icy facade cracks. Lin discovers this "ruthless" investor has secretly fended off a hostile takeover—and even learned to make her favorite runny-yolked eggs. From rivals to lovers, they find their way back to warmth, right in the heart of the hotel that binds them.
