Lin Wan, a restorer at Qingqiu Jade Shop, accidentally receives a fragmented azure jade pendant—its surface glows like jade, carved with a moon-shaped hook. While repairing it, she cuts her finger, and as her blood seeps into the cracks, the jade suddenly emits cyan light. That night, when the moon hangs like a hook, an ancient-dressed man named Gu Zhao appears out of thin air. He claims to be a spirit who guarded the jade a thousand years ago and has been trapped since it shattered. Lin Wan discovers she can “read” the jade’s memories: in her past life, she broke the pendant to save Gu Zhao, but he mistook her act for betrayal.
