Lin Wan, a restorer at Qingqiu Jade Shop, accidentally receives a fragmented azure jade pendant—its surface glows like jade, carved with a moon-shaped hook. While repairing it, she cuts her finger, and as her blood seeps into the cracks, the jade suddenly emits cyan light. That night, when the moon hangs like a hook, an ancient-dressed man named Gu Zhao appears out of thin air. He claims to be a spirit who guarded the jade a thousand years ago and has been trapped since it shattered. Lin Wan discovers she can “read” the jade’s memories: in her past life, she broke the pendant to save Gu Zhao, but he mistook her act for betrayal. Now, Gu Zhao’s spirit is fading as the jade isn’t fully restored. They have seven days to unravel the misunderstanding and retrieve the jade’s “original heart”—yet when the truth comes to light, Lin Wan realizes what truly needs mending are two hearts trapped by regret.
