Five years ago, Su Wan, a cultural relic restorer, fell in love with Gu Shen, an overseas cultural relic recoverer, during a Dunhuang mural restoration project. However, she mistakenly regarded Gu Shen's family's "cultural relic return plan" as "plundering" and broke up with him in anger. Five years later, Su Wan is tasked with restoring a lost Song Dynasty celadon and reunites with Gu Shen at an auction—he has become the celadon's holder and proposes a condition: "Restore it, and I'll reveal the truth of the past." As old love letters hidden in mural pigments and inscriptions on the celadon's base gradually uncover the misunderstanding from years ago, they realize: now, one wants to guard the relic in China, the other wants to fulfill his family's promise to take the relic back home. Their seemingly opposing "missions" are actually another expression of the same deep affection. But when the truth is finally revealed, the dispute over the celadon's ownership escalates. How can they choose between their "missions" and their long-lost love?
