Lin Yang, a poor security guard, raises his daughter Xiaotang alone. To give her dad "a home," Xiaotang secretly signs him up for a blind date show. On the show, female guests mock him for his old security uniform and the "little burden" by his side. Only Su Wantang, the cold female CEO, stares at his hands wiping ice cream off Xiaotang’s face with bright eyes—three months ago, Su worked late into the night and saw Lin carry the lost Xiaotang back to the company in the rain. She’d remembered this man who "holds his daughter in the palm of his hand" ever since. When the host asks, "What do you see in him?" Su takes out a crumpled note (Lin’s words: "I trust you with my kid") and smiles: "I’ve been looking for him for three months. Finally, I got my chance." Before she finishes, Xiaotang jumps into her arms: "Auntie, will you be my mom?" Su squats down, touching Xiaotang’s head: "Not auntie—mom."
