Rural guy Lin Yang attends a blind date as his mother instructed, only to meet Su Wanqing—a billionaire female CEO and his “childhood fiancée” from an arranged marriage. Disgusted by Lin’s old T-shirt and cloth shoes, Su pours hot coffee on his chest, calls her playboy boyfriend to mock him as a “country bumpkin trying to climb the social ladder”, and even shoves him to kick him out. Finally losing his patience, Lin takes out his phone and makes a call. In the next second, dozens of men in suits rush into the restaurant, shouting “Mr. Lin” in unison—revealing he’s the only heir of Tiansheng Group, the top consortium that’s been in hiding for three years! Su collapses to the floor immediately, the playboy’s legs go weak with fear, and to top it off, Su’s father, upon learning the truth, brings the entire family to kneel before Lin, weeping and begging him to “spare the Su family”.
