Impoverished young man Zhang Ming rescues an elderly man on the street, only to discover he's a millennia-old hermit deity. Grateful, the deity bestows Zhang with the mystic power to pause time. Once destitute, Zhang uses this ability to amass wealth and transform his life, but its abuse traps him in ethical turmoil: freezing time isolates him from true love as sparks fade in stillness, and a hidden conspiracy unfolds—the deity’s test of human morality. When Zhang's lover faces peril, he must decide during the pause: sacrifice the power to save the world, or succumb to selfishness and doom destiny? This thrilling adventure blends fantasy, reversal, and suspense, questioning the cost of power and redemption of innocence.
