Fresh out of college, poor young man Chen Yang is struggling to make ends meet in the big city, knowing almost nothing about his quiet mysterious father who only sends him living expenses regularly. When he takes a last-minute part-time bar job, he stumbles on his usually stern dad laughing and drinking merrily with a powerful female CEO, clinking glasses and even putting his arm around her.
